Eliza Reed

Eliza came to America on the ship Caravan in 1856. She married Nathaniel Vary Jones in March 1857. They were divorced 12 December 1860. She then married John Tripp in December of 1860, and they were divorced in 1866. We have not been able to locate any sources regarding her life after her divorce.

Note that a picture of her gravestone on the Find a Grave website is not for Eliza, but for Elizabeth Jane Lewer Jones who was born in 1847 and died in 1900.

Eliza's maiden name is sometimes spelled "Reid."
