Elizabeth's first husband, John Daley, died in Nauvoo in 1841. She married William H. Clark in Nauvoo in 1845, and he died in January 1850 in Utah. She likely came to Utah with her daughter, Nancy Maria Daley, who was born in 1828. Her daughter Hanna Electa Daley Wood came to Utah in 1848 with the Heber C. Kimball Company. It is possible that they traveled to Utah with that company, but their names do not appear on the company roster.
Elizabeth died in Salt Lake city 1 January 1850, which proves that she arrived in Utah by 1849. Her husband, William H. Clark, also died in Utah in 1850. Further research is needed to confirm the year of their arrival and the name of the pioneer company she traveled to Utah with.
