Elizabeth Dewhurst
Elizabeth came to Utah between 1854 and 1856 with her mother, Elizabeth, and her sisters, Ann and Esther. They likely came in 1854, the year they sailed to America from England on the ship Windermere, but the first documentation to place them in Utah is ordinance work performed for Esther in the Centerville Ward on 29 September 1856. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel and identify the name of the company they traveled with.
Their father, James, died on the Missouri River, prior to reaching Council Bluffs. She later married Richard Lowe.
