Elizabeth Diana Harris
Church ordinance records prove that Elizabeth was in Utah by August of 1865. In the 1860 federal census Elizabeth and her family were living in Mansfield, Connecticut; in the 1880 census she is listed under the surname "Pender" and living in Ogden, Utah. Her obituary says she crossed the plains with Captain Nebeker in 1862 but because there was no Nebeker Company that year this is incorrect. There was a Nebeker Company in 1863, however, and this is probably the pioneer company she traveled with but additional research is needed to confirm this.
