The family sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Enoch Train.
he was a widow. She became ill while traveling and stopped at Fort Bridger then joined a later company, but died near Cache Cave. The McArthur Company Journal mistakenly refers to her as "Old sister Margt Maxwell."
