Elizabeth Evans Hayball

On 6 April 1865, the two youngest Hayball children, Harriet Melora and John Jacob, were blessed in the Logan 1st Ward. The ward records indicate that Harriet was born on 17 September 1860 in Nebraska and that John Jacob was born in Logan on 9 November 1862, so the family must have traveled in 1861 or 1862. Jacob's birth date is also confirmed by Logan Ward records at the time of his rebaptism on 14 November 1862.

Her obituary states that she came to Logan in 1861.  Further research is needed to determine the date of her arrival in Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
