According to information in the Tenth Ward Record of Members and the Salt Lake Stake Record of Members, Elizabeth Hannah was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 17 June 1854.  This was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration, which proves that she arrived in Utah by 1853.  Her name does not appear on the 1850 Utah census, so it is likely that she arrived in Utah between 1851 and 1853.  Further research is needed to determine the year of her travel and the name of the pioneer company with which she came to Salt Lake City.

The 1860 Utah Census shows her name as "Elizabeth Hannahs."

A 13-year-old James Hannah was baptized for the first time in Salt Lake City the same day as Elizabeth's rebaptism took place.  It is likely that they are related, but further research is needed to confirm their identity.

Elizabeth's name appears in the 1860 Utah census, 10th Ward, as "Elizabeth Hannahs."  Three children are listed with her:  Sarah, age 5; Elizabeth, age 3; Anna Maria, age 1.  If James was also her son, he had likely died before the census was taken.

Elizabeth's rebaptism record confirms her birth date and gives her place of birth as York, England.
