Elizabeth Jane Brandon
Does not appear to be the same woman who traveled in the 1852 McGaw company. She probably came to Utah in 1852 with her mother, step-father, and siblings in the Henry W. Miller company. FamilySearch indicates that she was married to Joshua Davis in 1851. He traveled to Utah in 1850. If the marriage date in FamilySearch is correct, then she reached Utah prior to 4 September 1851. However, this marriage date may be incorrect. It is more likely that they were married in 1853.
Miller company documents indicated that Owen M. Cole (her stepfather) had with him an additional 9 persons in company (10 people total; 2 men, 2 women, 6 children). The men were Owen Cole and Wilford Woodruff Brandon. The women were Keziah Fowler and Elizabeth Jane Brandon. The children were Mary Caroline, Martha Frances, Rebecca Ann, Evaline Melissa, Dianah Abigail, and Moroni Brandon.
