Evidence from emigration and church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) records proves the Gibson family traveled to Utah in 1863; surname is spelled "Eliza" on ship passenger list and Perpetual Emigrating Fund.

Birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone.
