Elizabeth Ormond

In his autobiography, John Ormond Jr. wrote that his father and two sisters, Mary (who was a widow with two children) and Elizabeth, came to Utah in 1852. The Outhouse Company records confirm that John Ormond Sr.'s traveling group consisted of three adults and three children.

She sailed to America in 1849 on the ship Hartley.  The ship manifest shows her given name as "Eliza."
