Elizabeth and her children traveled to America on the ship Zetland arriving in New Orleans on 26 December 1849.  She was re-baptized in Utah on 13 July 1851.

Her surname is "Findlay" on Find A Grave website and her burial.  On the 1870 Washington County, Utah census it is spelled "Fendley."
