Elizabeth Slater
The Slater family received financial assistance from the Perpetual Emigrating Fund. Although not directly listed in the memorandum book, John (Elizabeth's father) purchased enough food rations for seven people. According to New York passenger lists, the Slater's traveled from Liverpool to New York aboard the Colorado, arriving 28 July 1868.
Her given name is "Betty" on the ship manifest and her surname is "Husbands" on the death certificate and Find A Grave website.
