She traveled with her mother, Mary Ann Syer White Hill, and her siblings. On the 1860 Utah census, she is located in the household of her husband Isaac Stewart. Her birth date and death date are confirmed by her death certificate.

She sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Horizon.
