William, Emily, and Mary Ann Ray arrived in New York on 11 June 1866 via the ship Caroline. Thompson company records only list heads of household, but the notation that three adult food rations were purchased for the overland journey indicates both Emily and Mary Ann continued on with William to Utah. PEF records confirm that William and Emily completed the trip. Birth year is inferred from age noted in British Mission Records found on Mormon Migration.
