Emma Allcroft

Emma sailed to America in 1850 on the ship Hartley.  A family history states that Thomas came to America in 1849 and earned his way by working on a ship.  If this is true, it is likely the reason his name does not appear on any ship manifest.

Emma's birth and death dates are confirmed by the inscription on her gravestone.
