Emma Bacon
Emma emigrated to the United States with her mother and sister, Elizabeth and Louisa, in 1852. They traveled on the ship Ellen Maria. During the voyage, her mother met and married George Brough.
The Brough/Bacon family began their journey with the 1852 Outhouse Company. However, that company experienced divisiveness and for much of the way, each ten in the company traveled independently. Lang captained one of those tens and the Broughs traveled with him. Though this family is not specifically mentioned in Outhouse company records, they were part of William Hudson's traveling group, (William was Elizabeth's brother) as is confirmed by the notation that the Hudson group consisted of four adults and four children.
