The family appears on the 1850 Iowa census was taken on 20 September 1850, and a child was born in Utah in January of 1852, so we know that the family arrived in Utah in 1851. Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.
The 1860 Utah census shows her surname as “Maxfield.”
