Emma Twiggs

The Twiggs family arrived in New Orleans on 12 January 1855 via the ship The Clara Wheeler. Many members of the family died at Mormon Grove. Emma continued on with only her brother, Thomas, and her aunt and uncle, John and Martha Twiggs. Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her son's journal.

Her surname is "Gabbott" on the burial record and Find A Grave website.
