Circumstantial evidence from genealogical records proves the Dalley family traveled to Utah in 1852. One of their children died in October 1851 (months after the departure of the 1851 companies) in Iowa and another was born in November 1852 in Utah. Thus it was only possible for them to have traveled to Utah in 1852.
