Probably traveled with his sister, Mary Margaret Dodge. Both appear in the 1850 Utah census in the household of Christopher Jacobs (Mary's new husband) where Enoch is listed as Enoch C. Dodge. Enoch's name appears on a petition in Missouri in January 1848.
