Francis Marion Merrell
Misidentified in some records as "Merren [Marion] Merrell" and "Mevin Mevel." The Council Point emigrating journal states, "Jefferson T. McCallough [McCullough], Brought Mevin Mevel aged 14[.] found him provisions and hauls him 25 lbs of Freight." Additionally, the record shows that Charles Merrell, Francis' father, had a total of nine people (including himself) in his family group, not 10.
Francis Marion Merrell is the young man who traveled with Thomas Jefferson McCullough.
