Missionary Activity Notes
I had the privilege of going into the mission in San Diego in 1936. A Catholic woman was in the hospital and she asked if they would bring to her the Mormon Elders because she believed in them. She was blind, I gave her the blessing. She said she wanted to see, so I asked the Lord if it was His will to restore that Sister's eyesight to her again. After, this lady took my hand and said to me, " God bless you! How much can I pay you for that?" I said, "We don't accept money. We are glad to render this service for you." Two hours after we left this Sister could see. Having eyesight was a privilege which she had not enjoyed for years and years. This was not human power, but we were bearers of the Priesthood and we had the right to ask God to heal her. (Testimony, found in Family Search memories)
