Frank Thomas Slaughter

Frank, his parents (Charles Meriweather and Frances Piety Kenner Slaughter), were found living in Salt Lake City (21 June 1860) in the 1860 Census. Therefore, it is clear that the family came to Utah sometime before the above mentioned date. Family tradition from Family Tree at FamilySearch.org states that they came with the 1859 Captain Brown's Company. However, more research is needed to confirm this.
