Frederick Cockett
Frederick crossed the Atlantic on the ship Colorado with the Cater family, arriving in New York on 28 July 1868. Although Frederick is not listed in the memorandum book of pioneer Captain Daniel D. McArthur he was surely in this company because William Cater purchased four food rations for the plains crossing. Also, one of Frederick's obituaries, the one found in his Find A Grave memorial, says that he "came to Utah . . . with McCarty's train in 1868." This year of travel is repeated in his Deseret News obituary.
