Frederick Houghton

Evidence from emigration and church ordinance records proves that Frederick traveled to Utah sometime between 1855 and 1861. He sailed to America in 1855, but the first documentation to place him in Utah is a church ordinance performed 19 April 1862, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to determine the year he came to Utah and the name of the company he traveled with.
