Perpetual Emigrating Fund records show George most likely traveled in 1868 with his family (Elizabeth, Ephraim, and Thomas).  Further research is needed to determine with which company he traveled.

The family traveled on the ship Minnesota and arrived in New York on 13 July 1868.
