George Baker

Alternate Names
Job Baker
Birth Date
On 1841 December 28 (Christened)
Death Date
On 1865 April 9
Gender
Male

His given name is listed as Job on the Enoch Train ship manifest and his obituary.

FamilySearch gives his christening date as 25 December 1842, but his obituary states that at the time of his death, he was 23 years, 3 months, and 12 days old, making his date of birth 28 December 1841.

George's obituary gives his place of death as "Bear Lake Valley."  Bear Lake runs north and south in both the Idaho Territory and Utah Territory.  His obituary just gives his place of death as "Bear Lake Valley," so we do not know if that was Idaho or Utah.  However so we do not know which area he died in.  His obituary was published in Salt Lake City, so Utah Territory may have been his place of death, but further research is needed to confirm this information.
