George Garner
George attended a Church Conference with Ezra T. Benson in Pottawattamie County, Iowa on 7 April 1849 where there was a discussion about transporting Church property to Salt Lake City. On 14 & 15 March 1851 he was in a meeting in Salt Lake City with Brigham Young and Ezra T. Benson accounting for threshing machines. On 14 March 1851 George "enrolled" as a High Priest at Salt Lake. He sold property in Salt Lake City on 31 August 1851. A Find-A-Grave entry says that George Garner (b. 1 July 1807; d. 31 Aug. 1877) was a Captain of Ten in an 1850 pioneer company and that he transported thrashing machines to Utah.
