George Henry Shaffer
Son of Joseph Russell Shaffer and Gilead Taylor. Evidence from genealogical records proves that the Shaffer family traveled to Utah in 1852. A child was born 30 August 1851 in Missouri, and the first documentation to place them in Utah was the birth of another child in October 1852.
