George James Saxton
George and his sister Mary Evalina Saxton came with their uncle, George Bond. George was listed as George S. Bond in the Deseret News passenger list.
More research is needed concerning George's date of birth. The entry in "India, Births and Baptisms, 1786-1947," states that George was christened before he was born. Also, the 1900 Census states that George was born April 1856, while George's entry in "California Death Index 1940-1997," states that he was born 3 April 1858. At this time the date from Family Tree at FamilySearch.org and the christening record will be used.
