George Mace

George intially came to the Valley with his family in 1859. Several years later, he participated as a teamster for the Daniel Thompson out-and-back company to assist in bringing new emigrants across the plains.

His birth and death dates are confirmed by his death certificate and the inscription on his gravestone.
