George Tubbs
George came to Utah in either 1862 or 1863. He likely came in 1862, the year he took a PEF loan for his emigration and sailed to America. But the first documentation to place him in Utah are church ordinances performed in January 1864 which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to narrow the year of his travel.George's family came to Utah in the 1862 Horton D. Haight Company.In some sources his surname is spelled "Tubb".
