George William Elliott
The obituary of Edwin Elliott states that the family moved from England, to France, then to Australia, and on to California. Elliott came to Utah alone and later returned to California to bring the rest of the family to Utah. In December 1861 the family moved to Provo. Further research is needed to determine the year they came to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.
His death certificate shows his name as "George Elliott," and the Utah State History Cemeteries and Burials Database shows it as "George William Elliott." There is no photograph of his gravestone. The Burials database information comes from the cemetery records submitted at the time the family made arrangements for the burial.
