George William Reed

The obituary of George states that he came to Utah in 1862. His birth and death dates are confirmed by his death certificate and the inscription on his gravestone. Elizabeth Wilkins Steadman wrote to her mother of a "Brother" Reed who crossed the plains with them. George Reed traveled on the Manchester with many of those within the Homer Duncan Company.
