Gideon Hayden Carter Gibbs
Gideon, brother to Eliza J. Gibbs Fox, initially traveled to the Salt Lake Valley in the Abraham O. Smoot - George B. Wallace Company in 1847.
The obituary of his wife also confirms his travel to Utah in 1847.
The Camp of Israel schedules and reports also place him in the Samuel Gully/Orson Spencer Company (1849).
He later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.
