Hannah Selina Pigg-Stannard
She arrived in New York on 16 June 1861 with her mother and siblings via the Monarch of the Sea. Her mother, Caroline Nunn Pigg-Stannard, apparently died before crossing the plains. (Family Search says that at her death she was in Oswego, Kendall, Illinois and her name does not appear in the records of the Perpetual Emigrating Fund along with her daughters). Hannah Selina borrowed money from the Perpetual Emigrating Fund. On both the ship manifest and the P. E. F. records her surname is spelled "Pegg."The first documentation to place her in Utah her marriage to Niels Engberg in March 1862 in Salt Lake City, which was prior to that year's emigration season. Later in life she was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died in Oregon. Her name is "Seline Hannah Engberg" on her Find-A-Grave memorial.
