Hans Frederick Petersen

Evidence from emigration and newspaper records proves that the Petersen family traveled to Utah in 1866.  The Petersen family sailed to America in 1866 on the ship Kenilworth.  His name is listed as "Hans Frederick Pedersen" on the ship manifest.  His death certificate shows his name as "Hans Peterson."

The Andersen family came on the ship, Kenilworth in 1866. The family consisted of, father, Andrew, mother Caroline and children Hans, Jens, Ane and Brighamine.
