
Harriet Rhoda Johnson
Harriet's obituary states that she came to America in 1848 with her aunt, "Mrs. Hayward."
Provo 2nd Ward records indicate that Harriett "Rhoda" was an adopted daughter of the Bigelow family. She first appears with the Bigelows on the 1850 census in the home of Asa Bigelow.
She was first baptized on October 13, but the year is unknown.
She was rebaptized in the Provo 2nd Ward with the rest of the Bigelow siblings on 28 August 1852. Those records provide her birthdate and indicate that she was adopted and born in England.
Her obituary supports the previously stated information, and states that she traveled to Utah in 1848 with her aunt, "Mrs. Hayward."
