The family sailed to America in 1855 on the ship Charles Buck.

Heinman is the son of Samuel and Johanna Lublin. He emigrated with his parents and siblings. The main source for this family is a local history. Although this is a secondary source, it was compiled and published while Mrs. Lublin (Heinman's mother) was still alive. Presumably, she contributed information about her family's overland travel.
