Helena Ekman

She sailed to the United States with her daughter, Anna, in 1865 on the B.S. Kimball.

She is often shown as "Lena Caisa Ekman" or "Eckman" in family documents.

Scandinavian mission records prove that Helena, Anna and her two sons (listed at Abel and Enoch) traveled with Peter Magnus Andersson. Sadly, one of Anna's sons died at sea. The other child appears to have died before the wagon company left Nebraska. According to the Scandinavian mission records, Peter M. Andersson paid for 9 people's passage, including himself, to Wyoming.
