Circumstantial evidence proves that the Boley family traveled to Utah in 1851. Their names are listed on the 1850 Iowa census enumerated on 19 September 1850, but their names are not listed on the 1850 Utah census taken in spring 1851. They traveled to Utah in summer 1851 and had a child born in Utah in December 1851, proving that they had to travel to Utah in 1851.
