Henry Evans

Henry and Ann sailed to America in 1852 on the ship Ellen Maria.  The ship manifest gives his occupation as "Gas Fitter."

He served in the pioneer company as the Captain of the 3rd Ten.

Henry was the former president of West Glamorgan Conference.

The family is not listed on the company roster.

Henry and Ann were married in Saint Helier, Bailliage de Jersey on 24 July 1851 and divorced in Salt Lake City on 5 October 1852.

Rebaptized on 12 October 1852. Birthdate found in rebaptism records.
