Henry Gillins
Henry, his mother, and sister, arrived in New Orleans on 29 May 1854 via The Marshfield. His sister's reminiscence indicates they arrived in the Valley that same year. Several years later, he crossed the plains again as a teamster for the 1866 Daniel Thompson out-and-back company. He married an emigrant girl he met on that trip.
