Henry James Goodwin
He sailed to America in 1850 on the ship North Atlantic, and his name on the ship manifest is shown as "Henry James Goodwin.
In some sources his name is shown as "James Henry," but England parish record of his baptism show his name as "Henry James Goodwin."
He initially emigrated to the Valley with his family, but in 1864, he again crossed the plains, this time as a teamster working for John R. Murdock's 1864 out-and-back company.
