Henry Luthi

Mission newsletter indicates he was honored at a farewell in San Pedro on January 15, 1921 where he labored about a year. During his time there the first Sunday School was held and now there is attendance of about 70 people.  He was transferred to Porterville, California (Calimis 1:4).  Reported May 15, 1921- Elder Melvin Freebairn and Elder Wayne C Gardner are laboring in Hollywood and Henry Luthi and W.V. Spackman are at Boyle Heights in Los Angeles (Calimis 9:5).  July 3, 1921- Boyle Heights Branch had the Sunday School officially organized under the diligent work of Elders Luthi and Spackman who have been successful twice before in establishing working organizations of the Church (Calimis 13:3).
