Henry Stones
Evidence from Perpetual Emigration Fund records and church ordinance records proves that the Stones family traveled to Utah between 1864 and 1868. The 1864 Monarch of the Sea ship manifest lists a Henry (30), Mary (28) and Martha (6). The Perpetual Emigrating Fund Index lists Henry and Mary coming in 1864 as well. The 1870 Utah Census lists Henry Stone (40), Mary (32), and Ellen(14). FamilySearch lists Henry's wife's name as Mary Taylor and also Ellen May Taylor but family records show her name as Ellen May Taylor. No children are listed with them on FamilySearch. Further research is needed to confirm the year they came to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.
