One of eight new missionaries arriving in the California Mission that was mentioned in the mission newsletter on January 18, 1921(Calimis 1:9); Reported March 15, 1921 Elder Bodily serving in Phoenix, Arizona is suffering with a slight attack of rheumatism (Calamis 5:4). About April 1 1921 Elder O. F. Peterson returned to Phoenix to labor with Elder Balle, H. Bodily, and Kasius. Peterson leads the four elders in a singing quartet, cottage meetings, & street meetings to build favorable interest towards the church (Calimis 6:3). Reported that he transferred from Phoenix, Arizona to Long Beach, California about April 1, 1921 (Calimis 6:11). Reported May 1, 1921, 'Labored at Phoenix, Arizona. Rare combination of poet and missionary. (returned early on account of ill health). Lives at Preston, Idaho' (Calimis 8:5).
