
Hyrum Hoopes
Although his name doesn't appear on the 1850 Utah census, he must have come to Utah in 1850 because his wife conceived a child by him in spring 1851. He went back east around 1858 and was seen crossing the plains again with the Redfield and Smith Freight Train in 1859.
