On the original census returns (collected in 1851), this person is listed as "Iddy" but on the official 1850 census (which was compiled based on the 1851 returns) this person is enumerated under the name "Lizzy." Iddy/Lizzy appears in the home of William Hyde, John Cook, and James (possibly Jim who traveled in the Willard Richards company). On the census, Iddy is identified on the draft census as "Free black." John Cook is identified as "Mulatto" and James as "Black." More research is required to determined Iddy/Lizzy's true identity.
