Isaak Losser
Isaak, his wife Verena, children Jacob and Arnold came from Switzerland in 1861 on the ship Monarch of the Sea.
Three additional children, Elizabeth Looser, Catherine Looser (sister to Elizabeth) and Heinrich Looser (a cousin) also appear on the 1861 Monarch of the Sea ship manifest, with Isaak Looser and his family. We have been able to confirm Elizabeth's and Catherine's arrival to Utah but we have not been able to confirm Heinrich's arrival. Their relation to Isaak Looser has yet to be determined.
The 1870 Utah census shows the family's surname as "Lowser" and his burial record spelled his name as "Isaac Losser."
